Discussion forum: Approach: Classical

This year, I’ve put together my own mix of material for my 3rd grader a la Well-Trained Mind my Susan Wise Bauer. While it has worked well, it took a lot of planning and trying this and that to see what worked. I overloaded him early on and then streamlined it to the essentials and extra interests.

I am changing only because I want to combine my other two school-aged children with him. We’ve switched to Tapestry of Grace.
