Museums
American Veterans Heritage Center
The AVHC houses military memorabilia spanning eight campaigns starting with the U.S. Civil War-ending with Operation Enduring Freedom(OEF) and a September 11th artifact & memorial.
The V.A. grounds & The Dayton National Cemetery are included in the tour (if requested). The National Cemetery inters five Medal of Honor recipients, Joshua Dunbar-Father of Poet Paul Laurence Dunbar and the great-grandson of Tecumseh.
The center is very home-school friendly. There is no admission. Hours depend on volunteer availability, but appointments are respected. Walk-ins welcome.
Ohio Historical Center
The Ohio Historical Center is both the headquarters of the Ohio Historical Society and a museum facility showcasing Ohios history from the ice age to the year 1970.

Folks, it doesn't get much cooler than the Air Force Museum. Plan to spend a whole day!
The Wilds
The Wilds was opened to the public in 1994 and spans nearly 10,000 acres. Thousands of acres have been developed and divided into large sections where African, Asian, and North American species are managed.

Supreme Court of Ohio Visitor Education Center
The Visitor Education Center is designed to provide both adult and student visitors with an understanding and appreciation of the history, role and responsibility of the Ohio court system. Exhibits feature engaging images, videos and histories that challenge visitors to become involved using true-to-life displays illustrating important rulings and constitutional issues that touch the lives of citizens.
